Horan Communications was proud to support and participate in the kickoff event for the 10th anniversary of Boston Partners in Education’s “The Big Cheese Reads” program, a fundraising initiative that brings community leaders into classrooms to read to Boston Public Schools middle school students.
To launch the anniversary year, community leaders joined Boston Partners staff on October 10 (10/10!) at the Lilla G. Frederick Pilot Middle School in Dorchester, which is also celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Students and staff at the school helped cut a birthday cake to mark the occasion before readers visited classrooms to talk about their educational and career paths.
